Vodice is an idyllic town with approximately 5050 inhabitants. It is because of her 
Adriatic-coast, approximately 10 km northwest from Šibenik and 68 km northwest 
from the airport Split. Vodice combines rural Ambiance, outlook on the Šibenik isle - 
archipelago and a long groomed beach, with the preferences of a city with
 restaurants and cafes, night-conversation, stores, hairdressers, drugstores, 
a medical practice, a dentist, a post office, a bus - station, that connects guests with
 the excellent network of the bus - routs, banks, quite a lot jeweller-shops, tourist 
bureau, as well as tennis - and volleyball-places etc. Moreover, the circle-capital 
Šibenik is only 11 km remote. Consequently, Vodice is in vacation-goal especially 
attractive for the vacation guest. For the relaxation - tourists, we have 2 seasons 
in this area: 

The bath-season, from middle of June until middle of October, and the active-season. The weather of the more final has big 
similarity with the English spring and is suitable excellently for sailing, painting, tennis / and volleyball-games, as well as for 
excursions. It offers itself a big number of destinations here and there are not only exceptionally beautiful sceneries, but also
art / and culture-treasures, like for example the Diokletian - palace in Split, the downtown of Trogir, (which is on ' Unesco List 
of Sites of the World Cultural Heritage'), the renaissance cathedral of St. James in Šibenik, or the gold - and silver-collection in 
Zadar. Vodice represents also an excellent starting point for the Ecotourists, who wants to see the landscape, the geological 
formation, the flora and the fauna, which shows a considerablenumber of endemic types of the most interesting national-parks
of Croatia. Kornati, Krka, Paklenica & Plitvice is not removed far from Vodice. The remaining 3 parks are only in the way of a 
longer trip, Brijuni & Risnjak northward and Mljet soutward, attainable.
